Our marketing partners ask “What are you doing in the area of sustainability?” Due to the fact that we are still burning fossil fuels, this could cause some race teams to cringe, but not us, because we know we are driving to carbon neutrality.

We want to keep doing the things we enjoy while continuing to reduce our impact. We are conscious of our impact on the planet and our goal is to do more with less, as that is the definition of sustainability.

Renewable energy

Henderson Racing is climate conscious and all fabrication is powered with solar energy. We invested in solar several years ago and haven’t looked back. Our solar panel software shows us exactly how much CO2 we have prevented from contributing to air pollution.

Recycling

Oils, solvents, cleaners and other hazardous materials are part of any motorsports team. Our team respects where these come from and where they can be responsibly returned. Petroleum products, batteries and tires used by our team are responsibly managed and returned or recycled. On a hot day at the track, there is no doubt there will be single use containers of plastic bottles and soda and beer cans. We provide recycling receptacles for anyone to recycle these items at our pit.

Philanthropy

When we are local, we buy local. We support local hotels, restaurants and small businesses while we visit these amazing cities and towns that host the events that make our racing habit possible.
